Go to the Bridge District with one of those in your inventory. Somewhere along the south-eastern border you'll come across a strange door, which is trapped.

You need a Rogue Stone to enter the door, and this will lead you to the Twisted Rune. You'll get into a tough fight there, though, so you might want to postpone this visit until you're into Chapter 6 or so.

I didn't find any other uses for the Rogue Stones.

Don't postpond the fight. You just have to plan it a bit. eg. killing the main guy is very-very easy if you have Yoshimo (/Bounty Hunter / Thief with good set traps skill) with you. Just trap out the area where the 'main' guy materializes. (5-6 traps should be enough). Just let him materialize and when he attacks you the traps kill him. Rest of the guys are easy. Use cloudkill (for the mage) / negative plane protection (for the vampire) and protection from evil to protect you from the demon one of the guys gates in ... The set traps thing works great for most of the big monsters / tough fights.

(I finished twisted rune in chapter two with ~ 10th level party)

btw. sorry about the bad spelling

btw2. a bit about rogue stones - I had 6 ones with me (in containers) when going in to the twisted rune and when I left I didn't even have one. So ... sell all but one before you enter.

btw3. Sometimes when you kill someone with traps it doesn't give you any exp ... a bug I think.

Trap setting is for pussies that like to cheat. I wooped that lich the good old fashion way...with weapons and magic. If you haste your guys and plug the shit out of him with arrows before the fight, use ring of ram, then breach, you can waste his ass so quick.
