just got into the desert and need water. i went to go get that sword, and i cant figure out the runes. the clue it gives is someting like "when evil goes unchecked, only then shal one defeat the guardian and prove his worth to wield the Desert Fury"

how do i get the sarcauphogas open?

thanx for any help!

It has something to do with those rune stones hanging around the room. Try placing on the tiles in the middle.

hint: X always marks the spot.

Yeah, this took me a while too..


Spoiler:

First, read the runes on that pillar. Then the gargoyles come to life and attack you. After they've been beaten a bunch of little boxes will appear on the floor. Arrange the stone tablets in an X on the little squares. The tomb will pop open.

Clue... look around the room. After you defeat whatever is in there, pick up everything you can. There are some panels on the floor in a 4x4 pattern. Maybe those things you picked up can be used to activate certain panels. There should be something there to show the proper configuration except you'll come up one short. Hmmm...how to activate the last panel....
