My ranger has 13 wisdom & yet has no spells to memorize in his spellbook. I took him to level 3 & he still has nothing that he can learn. Can anyone explain this?

check the table regarding ranger/paladin spells in your Neverwinter Nights manual and you will know why. (p. 163 in my version).
There you will see at what level the ranger get access to spells and how many.

Maybe you don't call it a spellbook but whatever it is looks like the picture on page 18 of the manual, & has 'Spell Book' in it's heading .

Thats bioware for you.
Anyway, Rangers get '0' spells at level 4, but in my experiance (maybe my modifier ain't high enough), they get their first spell at level 6.
