Arrows
Do the different types of non-enchanted arrows do different amounts of damage? There are chitin, iron, steel, bonemold, silver, glass and ebony arrows but I can't tell if one type does more damage than another. I normally use silver arrows as I figure they do more damage against non-dead and deadric creatures but its just my guess.

Yes, they do. Daedric arrows do the most damage of all, but are exceedingly rare and quite heavy. If you have the Bloodmoon expansion, silver arrows do double damage against werewolves.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Speaking of which, is there any place you can find a regular supply of arrows that are better than silver? Like a merchant or something? In most of my Morrowind games I only come across like 3 daedric arrows in a dungeon every once in a while, and I always hate to use them because they're so rare.

Only holdback for me is many fewer bolts, fewer merchants, fewer stashes. Otherwise superior, almost like a machine gun.
UncleScratchy:
arrow, min/max (damage)
bonemold, 1/4
chitin, 1/2
daedric, 10/15
ebony, 5/10
glass, 1/6
iron, 1/3
silver, 1/3
steel 1/4
I carry a stock of iron & steel and use them for all kills, including undead - works fine. I keep my daedric, ebony, glass arrows as souvenirs (Creeper holds on to them for me).
I use the 100projectileStoreChance mod which allows me to recover unenchanted arrows from recent kills.

I've got about 18000 spark arrows after selling and rebuying stuff (deadric cuirass, I think) from on of the two armourers in the plaza of the Foreign Quarter. What is nice is that his stock keeps refilling on those.
Small spoiler:
If you buy his stock of arrows, wait 24h, then sell the arrows to him and rebuy them, he'll restock an amount equal to those he had restocked and those you sold him, making you able to multiply his stock of arrows easily.

she sells silver arrows with nice fireball enchantment on them...

she also has a nice daedric longbow if you're in a roguish mood...
btw...best longbow in the game is auriel's bow...
weighs as much as ebony, but does as much damage as daedric...
wonderful weapon..
she also packs some dwemer crossbows...I think they are actually better, since you don't have to hold it back longer to get a good flat trajectory...

Thanks jOckser, thats the info I was looking for. Its curious that the developers left that info off the arrow and bolt descriptions but put included it on darts, throwing stars and knives. I may have to switch to glass, I had assummed that silver would do more damage than steel. Most, if not all, armorers seem to immediately replenish any arrows when you leave and reenter the barter screen. The same thing with repair hammers. So you don't need to rest for 24 hours to get more from them.
