Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
What do you guys think about this game? I was wondering if other RPG players think this is a good game by the reviews given to this game. Can you help me out?
I'll never look back, I've got no regrets 'Cause time doesn't wait for me i choose to go my own way.

Well, Chrono... er, I mean Crono, I would have to say that FFC is decent in providing nostalgia for a gamers, especially those who are either looking to play those games again, or wished to have played them in their heydays but didn't get the chance. For me, it was a combination of both.
The only tiff I have with it the sound quality (to an extent) for Final Fantasy IV. 90% of the sounds seemed muffled compared to the original version.
Still, Chrono Trigger is a very interesting game in the aspect of how the gameplay can vary depending upon some choices you make, much like in the Baldur's Gate series.
So, overall, I give the game a thumb's up.
BTW, welcome to the board, Crono.

I personally think any retro version of a game will pale in comparrison to the first, I believe it is a good way to show many of these new gamers the true glory of what the original games were like, and able to accomplish without mnay of these 10 minute long FMV summons, and ridiculously flashy graphics.

Crystal Chronicles is out already?![]()
It looks promising to me, I'll be getting it just for the four player ability alone. Secondly it won't be having any FMV's *yay*![]()
Oh, sorry. I thought we were talking about Final Fantasy Chronicles for the Sony Playstation. FF Crystal Chronicles is for the Gamecube, and I don't think it'll be out for another couple of months. I must've read this completely wrong. *smacks head*

FF Chronicles contain mad old games just converted with Chrono Trigger to the PlayStation for people who couldn't play 2 great games on any of the Nintendo systems.

No it isn't strictly the same. Some anime scenes have been added onto Chrono Trigger for each of its thirteen or so endings. Some Special featuresare added but I am not sure exactly what they are though .
Nothing much happens to Final Fantasy 4. And thats about it.

You can't improve perfection. FF4 (or FF2, as it was oringally released as in NA) is by far the best of the FF series.Originally posted by Crono
