What are some things you've found in KotOR that are related to the Baldur's Gate series?
- The woman who does Jaheria's voice also plays Juhani. Strange how they have such a similar name.
- The man who plays Sarevok's voice also does Jolee's.
- Raelis Shai, the woman you perform a few quests for in BG2 has the same voice actor as the girl you meet when you first enter the Undercity (Saleena?).
- You fight alongside a cleric by the name of Canderous during the party combat tutorial in BG1's Candlekeep.
Anyone got any more?
"Game Balance" is getting all players to complain equally.

I think the same actress also provided Imoen, judging strictly by the sound of the voice. The Raelis Shai accent always sounded very forced, to me.
Isn't the role of Malak played by Boo?
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
well yes they do have the same voices, but most companies uses the same voices for their games. look at starcraft to war3 for example.
although not specific tie-ins, I like the fact that they came back to characterization, as in, the other characters talk to each other and make conversation without your doing. They did that in BG2, and now put it back in with Kotor, which makes the game more interesting.
I think Mission is the same voice as that female flyer who lost her wings, forget the name, but cant prove it.

What most game production companies do is use the same talent providers for voiceovers. These producers actually do very little if any direct hiring of voice talent, themselves. You'll also notice a great deal of difference between games. A few voices stay the same, and we recognize these; but unless the same roles duplicate in successive titles, different talent tends to be used. That's why nearly all important voices in KotoR were not part of Bioware's previous games.
