To prove I am simply not out of my gord. I have played this once already on the light side and completed the game. Currently I am playing the light side again and I have passed through Taris, Datooine, Tatooine, and Manaan and now trying to get to Kyhsskk. I triggered the quest for Finding Griff by meeting Lena once again. Now, I am scratching my head like a stupid moron. I spoke to the Czerka Rep and she enabled the Go Find Griff quest. I went into the Sand People Terr. to find Griff with Mission and HK. No big deal you would think? Wrong..I asked the Chief to release Griff and he said basically go ahead "I can have the defiler". I circled around to the captive area and there was no Griff at all. The first time I went through the game I did it all with no problem. But I barely remember having to go to the Sand People to get Griff back. Where am I going wrong here? I spent 2 hrs trying out different groups and such and trekking all the way back there. None of it worked..Griff is not appearing at all and I did head back to Anchorhead to see if he slipped by once I got him released (without meeting him) and naturally he wasn't there. Ideas? Thoughts? Help? Please? Thanks in advance.

Hey yo I am going through the same exact problem and I was gonna ask about it. Like you I did a lot of back tracking to make sure I didn't screw up. I think it is a glitch in the game. Cause like you I am on the light side (sort of boarderline, but hey), I found Lena, went to the Czerka office, got the quest to go find Griff, however I did this all after I completed the main objective of Tantoonie (finding the star map). I think you have to get the quest first before ever talking with the sandpeople, cause if not I can't find that b@$T@rd. I went back after finding the star map and the sandpeople tell me to go ahead and take him, well where the hell is he? I spent an hour looking combing through every nook and crany for the guy.

Actually from what I know from going through the entire game the first time is that you don't have to have the quest to get griff before you find the Star Map on Tatooine. My reasoning behind this is that I didn't even know there was this Griff quest until I had already passed through Manaan, Tatooine (getting those Star Maps) and Dantooine..and was headed to Kyshakk or however you spell it. I had only gone back to Dantooine because I thought maybe the goofy council had some new quests or info for me. And low and behold I get Lena and thus I head to Tatooine and get Griff out of the Sand People (all in the first time I played). I mean if you don't get the quest I suppose its not a big deal..but thats not the point..Its just nice to know that you can do it if you choose without a glitch. Since you are having the same problem then obviously it is a bug and not my error. But keep me posted if you find out a solution from this location or somewhere else. I would like to know.
