I have Morrowind for the PC, but I'm considering getting the game for the X-Box. Smart? Not smart?
Are there any glaring differences in the way the game is played on the X-Box? Is the interface practical? Is the framerate acceptable?
I'm using the Morrowind FPS Optimizer now. Very handy. Great FPS management and some very valuable interface upgrades as well. And then there's the Quest Collater to show me what I did and didn't finish... I bet there's no such things for the X-Box.
And the plugins, of course. At least the official ones. Are those available on the X-Box?
And patches? If I buy the X-Box game now, do I get the latest patch too?
On the other hand, I find console gaming much more pleasant, lying on the couch in front of the TV beats sitting at a desk.
Does the X-Box version crash as much as the PC version?
All in all, is it worth it?
How's the X-Box version?
How's the X-Box version?

The interface and graphics are very nice.

The add-ons are being released sometime this fall.

I don't believe patches are issued for console games. Fortunately I haven't noticed any serious bugs that prevent the game from being played.

Probably. I know my copy locks frequently because of the Xbox's bad DVD drive.

Get one or the other, not both.

"Game Balance" is getting all players to complain equally.
@Xyx:
Bestheda plans to release a Morrowind Gold Edition for X-Box which will include Morrowind, Tribunal, and Bloodmoon. However, you don't have the capacity to download user-made plugins, which to me is a critical part of the game.

I think if you ask Bethesda Softworks that question they'll fall to the floor in tears of laughter....actually so would I.
The xbox can hold +50.000 datablocks, and my morrowind files (6) alone take in about 200-300 blocks, so unless sony drops the price on their memory cards, I ain't buyin'
Stick with the pc version Azzila, you're much better of.
By the by, the xbox version of Morrowind has a nack for crashing,
dirty disc messages and other, this is a well known problem.
I would have bought the pc version if my pc was up to it
I'm in shape.......rounds a shape isn't it?
