What the hell with disposition!?
Got the BM (skipped Tribunal for local reasons). Now i see the charm exploit appears to be removed. Shame, i liked it
However, the bug i've been running into time to time after the Morrowind patch is still here. So, i have the nice reputation and had gained pretty good disposition from all people in Ald'ruhn Mages Guild. Now, i return with done job and what do i see? All people here just hate me. Not enough the disposition was zero, Edwinna ever did not talk business. it even took at least two sucessful 100-bribes per NPC to get the disposition above 0! Outside the guildhouse all was allright altogether. There was something wrong with picture arriving here, though, i had to Alt-Tab to see the dialog and Edwinna's face. Has anybody else run into this and what to do with it?
TIA

I had the same problem, but fixed it with few 1000gp bribes. Sometimes I had to do it like, bribe with 1000gp offers to 100, exit dialogue. Disposition had dropped back to 0, start again, bribe, and then it stayed. But this was result of me fooling with megalevel personality enchantments/potions.

If your personality is lower than when you talked to an NPC last, you'll see a disposition drop the next time you speak with him/her.
I discovered this early on with the Mask of Clavicus Vile, and decided not to use personality-enhancing items again.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...
What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Well, i knew the effect of personality hipperboosting (it appeared first time with MW patch), in fact i even have used it to solve Thieves Guild quest (manor key) and following "bad people" affair (they all already hated me next time i showed up and little frenzy got the job done). However, this time there might be only minor (if any) lowering of personality (5 pts at base (with helm) about 80-90), i doubt if it's enough to make near or exactly 100 disposition to dorp below zero. Altogether i have suspicion there's some owerflow. Anyway, i don't believe it's supposed to be (although i can see some justice in case of superboosting potions - people don't like to be fooled, do they?) The other thing my reputation has been raised considerably (about 10 pts - approx. from 15 to 25)
