Have You Seen My Pants?

Post by Scorpio_7 »

Hello, I'm in a bit of a snag...OK a BIIIG snag...I downloaded and installed the "Guar Ranch" mod or "Guar Mod" I rode a guar...wow that was pretty cool...Hey!! No 3rd Person view!!! Then I uninstalled the mod...Now I can't talk to people, then after a few quests, Everyone says

80%I am not amused

or more commonly: "You are a fool to walk around like that"

In other words...I am wearing WAY TOO MUCH CLOTHING and they STILL think I'm naked!!
and by the way, starting a new game does NOT help either.

Anybody else with this problem?

If Not: Your Lucky, and I am Happy for You

If So:The Guar mod is at fault for all your trouble!!!! oh, and please help me... :p

Reinstall the game, and see if that helps.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

When uninstalling, make sure you get everything. Uninstal shield is notorious for leaving bits and pieces behind, especially in the registry. Also check the directory structure to ensure that the folders and subfolders are gone.

Yea, it's annoying having to run regedit just to uninstall. To make sure everything is gone, search on key words Bethesda and Morrowind. WARNING: Any changes made to the registry are instant and permanent. Back it up first, in case you mess something up.

What do I do about my mods and other things? I tested
every mod and none of them were causing the problem, but what if I forget a texture file?! and the mod doesn't work!? (Gulp)
Maybe forget a mesh? icon? sound? I shudder to think about it...
:(

Please tell me what files are important and what files are not.

I have a mid level character (about 29) and a cool khajiit that I just started out with. I was thinking maybe my save-games were corrupted but...I just would hate to lose em...is there a way to keep them?
