de'arnise keep problems

I have found Nalia and accepted her quest but cannot get to the keep. Any ideas why? Tried twice, once with her in the party and once without. I see it on the map but cannot figure out how to get there. Any info would be appreciated.

go to the city gates, and leave thru the gates, where the guards are....
