Doh!
What does "cheese" mean? Presume it's not merely a reference to coagulated dairy products...?
Also, what does "IIRC" indicate? Guess I'm too old to understand all this modern techno-speak...
BTW, am wondering if the Lich-rules have changed in ToB - realised after previous post that my recent Vangoethe experience was post-SoA (so is irrelevent, am posting in wrong forum, etc.)
'Course, I might be confusing a Mantle expiring with coincidental Breaching, but was sure M. had disrupted a few previously-healthy undead wizards... Can the MoD penetrate such "armours"?
B.
P.S. Where does the word "buff" come from? I presume from the context that it means "cast Protection spells", but have no idea why & am quite curious...
Liches are ga... suck

IIRC= If I recall correctly.
Cheese=misuse of loopholes in the game engine. It's technically not a cheat, since you aren't introducing elements to the game that aren't already there. You're just abusing things that the developers either forgot about, or couldn't rectify.
Lich rules haven't changed, but some of the artifacts you acquired in SoA will have been patched and changed when ToA is installed.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Re: Doh!
the mace of disruption is a +2 weapon, but it ACTS as a +5 weapon against undead...if a lich had only mantle cast as protection, then the mace will go right thru, since i think mantle will only protect up to +3 or +4 weapons...and the mace acts like a +5 weapon against undead...only absolute immunity will protect the lich, or protection from magic weapons...

You can install only parts of a Weidu mod?
When a mod has more than a component, yes. Coder's choice, of course. You should get all the possible options when you start the setup.
so littiz, have you been trying out battles? I've heard a lot of good things about battles, and i was thinking of finally field testing out my kensai sorc cleric hack...
So far I only tried a couple of components, as I was already near the end of SoA.
*MINOR SPOILERS*
Sometimes enemies cheat too much (Lord Roenall can't die till the end of the battle...). This happens even for Improved Sarevok in Hell, but he's a spirit so it's fine. This one was a very very fun battle.
I also checked the code of the final battle in the Illithid's Lair (the one with the Master Brain). It's adjusted basing on your difficulty's setting, but all in all I was scared by simply reading it (consider that with Tactics installed the creatures involved are already *heavily* enhanced... AlhoonS included, if you get my meaning!!! )
Fitting! That place was too easy, while a Master Brain should be able to disintegrate an entire high level party in a single round...
After all there are alternative paths.
