Vampire Calvario ID Number - Some Spoilage

Post by Aqua-chan »

Gawd. Three months at this game, and I only got to the main quest this past week. :p

Got to the Zainab portion, and they told me to go here and kill this. I've gotten to the Nerano Tomb, went in, was dissapointed that the place had already been looted (assuming so by all of the empty crates :( ), so I went to track the Vampy I was supposed to bury. He wasn't there.

So, after much looking around, I decided I would spawn him into the game. I've done it before, but for some reason, my Construction Set refuses to show me NPC ID numbers. I don't suppose anybody with the CS program on their computer could help me out here? :)

His ID is just calvario. ;) Are you saying that, when you click on the NPC tab, you don't see the ID column on the left-hand side?
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

I have learned that plugins can have a major impact on the game. Also have you got Tribunal, Bloodmoon, and any patches?

<calvario> I think is the name of the Vampire you want.

Are you absolutely sure you haven't been there before? If you have, and this applies to most quests, the fact should be noted in your journal (even if it doesn't show up for you to see), and you will get credit for it when you go back to Kaushad. There were a number of side quests I did without realising it, until I was confronted with a quest to get an item I knew I already had. I simply said 'goodbye' to my quest setter, then opened a new dialogue and lo-and-behold, they accepted my having completed the quest.

EDIT - sojourner, you are fast - beat me to it.

Thanks, because last time I did it, there were so many numbers and it was so screwy, I was amazed I actually managed to spawn something. :)

Well, I open the Construction Set and it goes through a list of Animation Group Problems. It asks if I want to continue running the exicutable, I hit "Yes" about twenty times, and then the entire list doesn't load - NPCs, Monsters, anything. Wouldn't ya figure. :p

I would say you need to uninstal and reload your CS

Ya know what... I wonder if that is what I did? The looted boxes would make sense, and the fact that I have a "Key to Nerano Tomb" when the body on the floor didn't is beginning to make me wonder....

Gawd, I feel stupid now. :D

Hey, I can't even remember if I ate breakfast this morning. It is possible that I can forget a sidequest I did maybe three months ago. :p

I had gone into a Tomb once and found a specially marked Skull. I was suspicious, so I took it with me and stored it with all my other junk in a group of crates in a Temple. When I ran out of space there, I moved into a large Inn room in Ald-Ruhn.

I went out, did some quests, then got onto the Mage guild part o the main quest. A Necromancer wanted that skull. So, I casted Recall, got back to the Inn room, and everything was gone.

Stupid me: I had forgotten that Inn Rooms respawned every day. :o It took some summoning of items to get around that one.

But, this thread is not a total loss, as I still want to know why my COnstruction Set is acting mean to me. :)

I can't help you there. As I posted earlier, uninstall and reload; my first thought is that you have a corrupt file somewhere. Although I have not been plagued with problems with MW the way some have, I have never had a problem with CS - not that I use it constantly or anything.
