Does anyone know if you can use the counsel and give the Creeper merchant in Caldera more than 5000 gold?

You can do a search and get a plugin that will up his cash.

Check out some of the links in the Morrowind yellowpages thread. :)

I'm sure there are several mods to do this. I used <CreeperMoreMoney> giving Creeper 50,000 gold. Any more would be too unbalancing (my opinion). Got it from Morrowind Summit.
I have also seem threads describing how to modify his money supply to suit your play. For the adventurous.

Or you can make your own plug-in and alter his cash yourself. ;)
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

In my game the Creeper has 100.000. What's the use of carrying around 80.000 worth of swords when you can't sell em ?

I know there are plugins outthere that give the Creeper even more cash, but 100.000 is enough. If i find items worth more than that, i'm sure they're worth it to keep. ;)

Use the buy/sell/wait routine.

Especially many of the artefact weapons and armour.

I use "Shaki's Temple Fences" where there is a vendor with 250,000 gold at every temple. It sounds unbalancing but they don't give you full price - you have to barter and it counts towards your mercantile skill. Also it seems that as time goes on they give you less and less for your goods so you're not so inclined to abuse the system.

The irony in these statements just cracks me up. :D

Even more ironic is the fact that these were:
a) taken out of context
b) two different authors
c) two different approaches

Best Merchant

Creeper is this best merchant in the game without a doubt.
He is easy to get to, has heaps of gold, buy virtually everthing and is a place with no enemys so you can rest easily and quickly. Just use the sell a large item take stuff back till it makes it 5,000 then buy. Wait 24 hours then sell him something back worth 5,000 then sell 10,000 and take back the 5,000 item and so on till you have heaps of cash. I remeber when i got my 1st and 2nd and 3rd million actually i got all my millions off that dude. Far better than mudcrub in my opinion. And don't go on about that plug-in crap im an Xbox gamer :D :D :D
