Out of print?

Post by Minerva »

Is there any reason why Icewind Dale II is not available in shops like Amazon?

It seems there will be Collectors edition coming, but there's no information on what's new in this edition. If it's like the bonus merchant in BG2 and will be available to download few months later, I'd rather buy cheaper copy. If, on the other hand, this new edition will be the original game with add-on, I might consider getting it.

I just thought of treating myself with a new game. :D It's either IWD II or Civilization III. I have no money to get both, sadly.

Unfortuneatly, I faced the same problem as you, O' Goddess of Wisdom. I had to resort ot buyying it over e-bay, from a distributor in Singapore (Funny, thats how I got NWN's as well, only from Thailand  ).

As for a choice between the two, if you want replayability, go for Civ. And I can't, for some reason, come up with reason to go for IWD aside from if your a fan of CRPG's and want it.

Well, I can probably buy the copy from highstreet shop, but it cost more than I'm willing (like £26.99 for a game published so long ago).

I'll follow Aegis' advice and get CivIII instead, then. :)
