According to CNN (has to be true, right) this is the nineth annual Pirate day, though only one other got publicity?! Somebody hijacked the other announcements?

Who ever cam up with National Pirate Day?

Are there a bunch of out of work Pirates as a voting block? Are there miscreant ex-Hallmark employees out there trying to make buck? making up new holidays.....

Like the famous Dread Pirate Roberts, you have a keen head for how to make a profit. You tend to blend into the background occaisionally, but that's okay, because it's much easier to sneak up on people and disembowel them that way. Arr!

Well damn, it didn't work for me...

In fact, apparently the question about how often you bathe (daily!) didn't either... I am not quite sure how it managed to come up with that...

and based on the answers I gave it had no reason for saying that, so it was obviously flawed, hence doing it again to get a more accurate description.
