I just have to get in on this again.

My picks:

Colts over Jags
Chiefs over Texans
Vikes over Lions
Titans over Saints
Bengals over Steelers (this was hard to decide)
Bucs over Falcons
Green Bay over Cardinals
Seahawks over Rams
Ravens over Chargers
Browns over 49ers (I know the 49ers are considered better, but I think the Browns are so mad after last week that they are dangerous)
Bills over Dolphins
Broncos over Raiders (another hard pick - I chose Broncos b/c the game is in Denver - tough to beat them there. Also, I hate both these teams! esp. the Raiders they are pure evil)

Last, my two most important picks
:D
Giants over the Skins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Die Skins! Die!)
Jets over the Pats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Never underestimate my boyfriend, Vinny Testaverde! Die Pats! Die!!!)

Bloodstalker 10/4 - 71%

Hey, I did pretty well, eh?

It was great to see Vinny play well (even if they lost) and break Johnny Unitas' record.

Stupidly, I missed the Giants game (dunno why, I thought it was Monday!) - and I'm pissed b/c it sounded like it was great - they won in overtime.

My picks for Week 4:
Rams over Cardinals (Hey-I'm from St. Louis originally, and I still think that Arizona Cardinals just sounds wrong, so they should lose. I mean how would the Cowboys like it if they got sold and were called the Boston Cowboys or something like that?)
Browns over Bengals
Texans over Jags - both of these teams blow - this one's a toss-up really, but the Texans have a slightly better record
Pats over Skins - another toss-up
Bills over Eagles
Vikes over 49ers
Titans over Steelers
Chiefs over Ravens
Raiders over Chargers
Panthers over Falcons
Broncos over Lions (btw - don't the Bronco's new uniforms look cool - they look like superheroes)
Colts over Saints
Bears over Packers (what is up with Brett Favre this year?)

And the big game:
Jets over Cowboys. So, Bill Parcells, who coached a lot of guys on the Jets longer than he's coached the Cowboys, is coming back to the Meadowlands. Well, I love Bill, I'm an old Cowboys fan, but I just can't root for them on my own soil! Expect an emotional game. Esp. after the spanking the Giants got from Tuna.
Giants have a bye week.

I don't know why I even bother, but here are my picks:

St. Louis
Cleveland
Jacksonville
Washington
Buffalo
Minnesota
Pittsburgh
Kansas City
oakland
Carolina
J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!
Denver
Indianapolis
Green Bay

This week is a crap shoot; there are a log of games that could go either way (ie-Tennessee/Pittsburgh, Dallas/NYJ, Jax/Houston) so I am basically flipping a coin on most of the games. A lot of it depends on which team shows up; is it the Patriots team that laid an egg against Buffalo or the Patriots team that mauled the Eagles? Is is the Miami squad that blew a lead to the (almost) expansion Texans or the one that kicked the Bills to the curb?

Injuries are the big story this year; Marshall Faulk is out, Michael Vick and Chad Pennington started the year hurt. Kurt Warner has been benched because of a phantom concussion and Mark Brunell's elbow may give Byron Leftwich his first start. I think I'll be lucky to even guess 50% this week.

week 4

Rams over Cardinals – yes, there are cardinals in Arizona, I get them in my backyard every spring!
Vikings over 49ers – I think the 49ers could surprise here, but I’m still going with the Vikings
Steelers over Titans
Redskins over Patriots
Jaguars over Texans – This is so tough. Can the Jags go 0/4?
Eagles over Bills – I think the Eagles could pull it out
Browns over Bengals
Chiefs over Ravens
Raiders over Chargers – the leader of another pool I’m in says that the Chargers are a lock for this game.
Jets over Cowboys
Panthers over Falcons
Broncos over Lions
Colts over Saints

Packers over Bears 36 to 13 – Packers need this one.
That there; exactly the kinda diversion we coulda used.

This is a tough week.

Rams over cards
SF over Vikings. Don't look at me like that. niner's need it, and I hate Gus.
Tenn over pittsburg
Skins over patriots....unless they give this one away like they did last week
Jags over Texans...purely because I had to pick one
Bills over Eagles.....but it worries me since the Bills can't run the ball.
Cleveland over the Bengals *Note, if I had not sworn off ever picking the Bengals, this would have been the week to do it. Couch blows*
Cheifs over Ravens
Chargers over Raiders. Portis owned the raiders, and so will Tomlinson.
Cowboys will beat the Jets ----Sorry Voo :D
Panthers over Falcons
Broncos over Lions
Colts over Saints
Packer over the Bears
Lord of Lurkers

Guess what? I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell!

We all agree on:
Rams over Cards
Browns over Bengals
Chiefs over Ravens
Ranthers over Falcons
Broncos over Lions (and I agree with Voo that the unis are cool)
Colts over Saints

We don't agree on:
49er/Vikings - BS takes 49ers
Titans/Steelers - BS and Voo take Tenn
Pats/Skins - Voo takes Pats
Eagles/Bills - Why, oh why am I taking the Eagles? Must....control....urge....to change pick....last year I always lost when I second-guessed....
Chargers/Raiders - BS takes SD
Cowboys/Jets - BS takes 'boys ( )
Packers/Bears - Voo takes Chi.

Looks like BS stands alone on a lot of his picks. I suspect that he will either come out the big winner, or not. :p

Just got back from the Rutgers-Navy game - it rocked. Rutgers beat the Navy 48-27. The Scarlet Knights are now 3-1! I'll be going to the next game next week - but this one will be even tougher, since they're facing Virginia Tech - a conference game.

I could kick myself for not picking the Bengals.

I could kick the Chargers for blowing a lead to the sorry Raiders

I do not regret the Viking....I hate Guss, and refuse to pick him. But I could kick him.

I regret the existance of the Dallas Cowboy franchise on general principles.

@Gwally....bet you feel damn good about that Philly pick now

:D

Yes, I wish I had picked the Bengals as well. The Raiders got lucky. You knew better than to take the 49ers, though and you should regret that one! But you were right about the Cowboys, gotta hand it to ya. I'm just glad that I didn't change my pick on the Eagles, but I know I lucked out! :D

No. I prodded him for his picks over at the DCI forum, 'cause I miss the big lug. :)

Tell him to haul his butt over here at least for the football threads . . . or else he will incur the wrath of the High Lord (or make up some equally hollow threat to get him to post his picks here, too).

Vikes over Falcons
Titans over Pats

Skins over Eagles

Dallas - tough call, but home field wins this for the 'Boys
Buffalo - even with a win, they're still the Bengals
Kansas City - it's tough get a road win in Arrowhead
Miami - Ricky Williams will get 125 rushing and Zach Thomas will beat up on Tiki Barber
Minnesota - where are you, Michael Vick?
Carolina - Panthers = hot, Saints = self-destructing
Oakland - Evil-Kordell is back
Green Bay - tough call, so I'm going with the home team
Tennessee - NE is quietly improving, but the Titans are a hot 3-1
San Diego - 0-5 for the Jaguars, unless the Chargers waste another 187 yard rushing day
Detroit - everyone in San Francisco should be begging Mooch to come back
Philadelphia - I think Mark Brunell or Kurt Warner will be in Washington this time next year
Pittsburgh - I'm always picking the home team in this rivalry
Tampa Bay - Tony Dungy's old guys will smack Peyton Manning around early and often

Raiders over Bears....and Chicago votes to put the word "teddy" in front of their name for the remainder of the season
Panthers over the Saints.....Davis vs Saint D...nuff said
Bills over Bengals...*I refuse to pick the Bengals..but , again, this is a very winnable game for them*
Vikes over Falcons
Tenn over the NE Backups
Cowboys over Cards....and how it wounds me :(
Eagles over Skins....and this wounds me even worse :(
Steelers over Browns
Seattle over Packers.
Colts over Bucs...yeah, I know, Bucs D. But all the colts have to do is score 13 points and they take it
KC over Broncos.....Broncos would win all things being even....Danta Hall ain't even though.
Chargers pissed me off last week, so I take the Jags
Det over the 49'ers....and then we REALLY get to see Owens go off.
Miami over the Giants

My random moaning:

Bills ain't that good. They are dangerous, but until they can run the ball, they are at best a 9-7 team this year.

Danta Hall for MVP!!!!!

Eagles and Skins...skins are not quite as good as some folks think. They tried in every way possible to hand NE the game last week *How do you repeatedly false start? Does the play call not include the snap count?* And, even if they were, it wouldn't matter. When these two teams play, nothing that went on the rest of the season matters. And the Eagles just own the Skins right now.

Bengals are very quietly getting better each week. You can see it. Sooner or later, it's gonna show in the win column.

Patrick Ramsey is the real deal. He played well against the Pats last week, and that is a rough thing for any young QB.

Rams should start Brenda Warner.

In two years max...the NFC East will be back to a two team division between the Skins and Cowboys...as it should be.

Herm Edwards shouldn't be anywhere near the hot seat. I know what the ownership said, the Jets have the talent to win. Maybe, but all that talent is either wearing Burgandy and gold or hospital gowns this year.

If you’re wrong on this, can we ask Buck to change your name to “Teddystalker?” :D

My picks:*
Vikings over Falcons (everyone agrees on this game)
Titatns over Patriots (ditto)
Panthers over Saints (everyone agrees)
Bills over Bengals (everyone agrees)
Raiders over Bears (everyone agrees)
Cowboys over Cardinals (everyone agrees)
Seahawks over Packers (only HLD picked GB)
Broncos over Chiefs (everyone else is picking the Chiefs, great googly-moogly!)
Jaguars over Chargers (Voo and BS are with me on this)
Steelers over Browns (everyone agrees)

Tough calls: (subject to change)
Giant over Dolphins??? (only Voo and I picked NY) – Dolphins game plan should be easy to figure out, so the Giants only have to contain R Williams.
49ers over Lions??? (Voo and I take SF)
Redskins over Eagles (Voo and Ty are with me on this)???

And Colts over Buccaneers??? (only Voo and BS are with me on this) 28-24

* note: my scorecard also includes picks from Tybaltus and jwmblade from the DCI forum
