thief doesn't seen to find traps

thief doesn't seen to find traps

i currently have a thief/ranger 5/2 level . She doesn't seen to find any traps. i press the search button and it says searching but never finds anything. am i doing something stupid or missing something?

Does she have high Search?

she has a search of 7 how high does it have to be for it to be effective

it depends on where you are in the game and what level she is
high consenteration helps too

a little bit it helps her stay on trak for longer but its not neccisary

I don't think so - that may be a role-playing association, but I A) haven't seen that effect listed, B) in my thief / mages haven't seen any improvement in detecting traps.
