continued problem

i posted earlier about not being able to give the orb to mona. one poster said he had no problem. atari says -after i phoned them- that it is not a known issue,but might be related to save file. went back before save and tried to do it with a current time.still cant talk to her she knows im there,bt all my party members say they are leaving when i try to interact with mona. thers tell me i really need to return it to her. help please.
