Dark Brotherhood

Post by Fer'or »

I was playing Tribunal, and my journal tells me to go and kill the Dark Brotherhood-leader. But when I come near him, he begins to say the same sentence over and over and over again, and when I click "goodbye" he starts again.
I've installed Tribunal and Bloodmoon, and all patches. Can somebody please help me?

Um, I've never played Tribunal so this is probably wrong for the circumstances but... whenever I have to kill someone I just do it and don't talk to them or anything... unless maybe you want to taunt him or something until he attacks you? Sorry, that probably didn't help at all.
Me say – two minutes. It kill him in two minutes. You make bet?

This is one of the common bugs that occurs. It's usually solved with the patch though. Maybe you could try installing the latest Bloodmoon patch again, it might have been corrupted..
@ Midori this is a scripted dialogue that happens when he sees you, no way to avoid it.

"I have seen them/I have watched them all fall/I have been them/I have watched myself crawl"
"I will only complicate you/Trust in me and fall as well"

I'll try updating again, then.... I will tell you wether it worked or not.

Thanks for your help, both of you.

I've had exactly the same problem, and disabling Bloodmoon fixed it for me. Disable it briefly, once you've dealt with the brotherhood, you can activate it again.

One thing though... you'll probably face a few more annoyances along the way, and the most disturbing one will be when you can't pull a lever to lower a bridge, when you're almost at the end of Tribunal.

If that should happen, and you're totally stuck, just say so here, and i'll have a tip for you to bypass the problem. I hope it won't be necessary though, but chances are it might.
