Where does Mazzy go?
If one drops Mazzy from the party (which I always have to do, to temporarily make room for Valygar & access the Sphere), where can she be found later on?
She says she'll be in Trademeet, but I can't find her there...

Mazzy Fentan does indeed return to the Fentan home.
Many thanks for the replies - that one was doing my (obviously very small and confused) head in!

Why don't you just kill Valygar in that case, you don't gonna use him, so if you kill him (you won't lose a reputation point), you can keep Mazzy in your party and she can get XP too in the Planar Sphere, that's the way I always solve this "problem"

Mazzy doesn't like it if you kill Valygar, I think she leaves the party then. And you can just dump Valygar when you are in the sphere, you only need him to open the door.
In fact, once you open the Sphere, you can send him back to his nice little home in the woodlands.

Thanks for the ruthless suggestions, but I'm afraid I can't use any of them.
No doubt I'm "stupid", in computer-gaming terms, but I'm afraid I actually role-play when I'm in a role-playing game. That means I choose the "good" course regardless of Reputation/results, etc., feel bad if I have to drop an NPC ("I hope s/he won't hate me for this?!?") and never, ever kill small, furry animals.
The advantages of this approach are that I get nice, warm feelings when I save innocents, a thrill of adrenalin when I cap the bad guy and a surfeit of smugness when it all pans out right...
Course, I did accidentally murder that girl one time, but that was an accident...

Actually, I think you'll find that many of us here are just as much into roleplaying as you are; and some of us have roleplayed the extremely good type--whether lawful or chaotic. But I've never heard dropping an NPC from a party described as an action even approaching evil. Each to their own, I guess.

of course, being evil is fun too...
i usually take valygar with me to open up the sphere, then kill him and sell the body...yes, you do lose 2 rep if you sell the body, but in return you get a nice loot....
then i can go back to the slums, and finish the planar quest...
since i kill (deleted), no witnesses...

I didn't say it was evil ! I'm just afraid that when I drop a character from the party, it hurts their feelings! They always say how they'd rather stay on, but the Max 6 Rule means somebody has to go. So I feel bad, bad, bad...

Sorry, no. Trying to follow in Beren's footsteps, I kill no living creature unless absolutely necessary.
Or at least Seani, the CG Thief/Mage never did. Ironicly, Seami the NG Fighter/Cleric executes Evils without regret, as that child-murderer with all the "L"s in his name can testify (used to let him get away, I did...) Which says quite a bit about (my view of) the typical behaviour of priests, IMO...
One time, I did kill an enemy N. had polymorphed into a squirrel, mind...
