Hi everybody - I completed Baldurs Gate twice many years ago. After getting thoroughly peed off with the graphics in Wizardry 8, I started remembering how great Baldurs Gate was.
So, here I am again!
I`ve forgotten a lot and what I`m trying to find out now is how I go about exporting a character. I`ve stolen some stuff from the gatewardens test at the beginning of the game, but I can`t leave the building. So I`ve saved the game and now I need to know how to export that character into a new game.
It is a small cheat, but I don`t cheat a lot, honestly!
It`s great to be starting again and this game is still streets ahead, even after all these years.

click export in you're character sheet, and start a new game and import it.
And you can exit the building by talking to the guy that asks if you want to summon more monsters.
