Help with importing character from BG I: TOSC pleeaseee

Post by karlosczech »

Hi,

today I finished BG I:TOSC and I imported my fighter character to BG II.
BUT......my imported character has ONLY 81 hitpoints[and my constitution is 19, lvl 8], so correct hitpoints I should have is 120.... Am i right??? [8x15=120]

So thats my problem, I hope someone tell me what is wrong...

Thanks for any reply...

I tried to create new character , fighter with constitution 18, and he has 120 hitpoints....but my imported fighter with con 19 has only 81???? wtf???

What hp did you have when you finished bg1? I think you get about the same as you have in bg1 (plus minus one hp)

also when calculating your hp it's not 15 * 8 it's (1D10 +5) * 8, one of the cheats (IMO) in bg2 is that you can set it so that you always get 10 hp on the roll and hence you seem to get 15*8....

In my experience, the import function in BG2 has a bug. Every time I try to import a character from BG1, the hit points get messed up. I use Shadowkeeper (a BG2 saved game editor) to fix the problem.
