Blade and Stars

Hi, I`m trying to get to the Blade and Stars, to meet with Lothander. I can`t get into the Southeastern part of Baldurs Gate. I`ve tried from every different approach and have had no success whatever. The area is shaded out and I just can`t get into it.
Does anybody have a solution, please?

the blade and stars in is in the southern part of BG(to the right of the iron throne but left of the main gate).... not in th south eastern as some maps say....

Well, I`m doing something wrong cos I can`t get into that section and I`ve never had that before. I looked in the other areas and I haven`t found the Blade and Stars.
Why can`t I get into that area? It doesn`t make sense.

You do have all of the latest patches, right?

I assume you know that in order to enter a region the first time you have to approach from an edge that adjoins the region. So to get to the SE region, you need to enter from either the west edge of the E region (left and down from Sorcerous Sundries) or the east edge of the S region (at the end of the row of houses across from the Low Lantern).

If you have already tried these, it sounds like you have a bug. You could try teleporting there by

CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR1300")

If this doesn't work, you may have to uninstall and reinstall BG.

ahhh I missed that part in your post.... probably becasue when I was looking for the blades and stars in I had a faulty map (that came with Bg1) and it showed B&S to be just north of the gate.... anyways follow JackOfClubs suggestions and you should be fine.....never heard of this bug yet...
