Well, as an after-thought to posting my current party I was wondering if adding a Wizard for the main purpose of crafting magical items and such was actually worth it? Is the exp cap easy to reach or will my poor wizard not be able to reach the cap after outfitting my party with magical weapons and armor?
Thanks,
Is Crafting Magical Items really worth it?

I definitely think so. There are some excellent items your wizard can create. However, I would wait on playing the game until the bugfix arrives, because a number of party-made magical items that should be in there are currently not being magically created.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Hey, fable...
I would second this. Also, I do really suggest a Wizard due to the greater spell selection.
If you don't mind me asking as an aside in this topic (will edit the post, cutting and pasting this in a topic of my own if not accepted), who do you suggest to take these other crafting feats?
Brew Potion: Sounds like a good idea for a Cleric, mainly for healing and stat-buffing spells (since they seem to get those spells in their Level 2 spell list).
Craft Wonderous Item: Wizard, definitely Wizard.
Would Scribe Scrolls also work for Clerics, Druids, and Bards?
I'm asking this for the sake of myself and any others that may read this and become curious as well. Sound okay?
Would you not suggest using a Sorceror for any of these feats, due to their limited selection of spells?
