Weird bug??? ---Spoilers---

Post by knarf »

I've just encountered a strange thing.
When I was in the sea city just before the Underdark (dunno its name :p ) I wanted to gain the cloak of mirroring.

But I couldn't find the priesteress wearing it.
I reloaded my game a couple of times, but still no cloak.
Cuz I didn't wanted to wait I just cheated :p , but the strange thing is, last time I played the game there was nothing wrong, and the first time neither.

But the second time there was also no cloak.
Is there any explanation for this, or is it just a weird bug?

SPOILER

Are you talking about the Shaugain city? (I don't know how to spell their name :p ). I think she is near the center of the city. You know you are close when you walk near a large "statue" of a fish with sharp teeth - the lower jaw is the floor. There are about 4 other fighters hanging around her too. Not too hard of a fight...

BTW...who would you equip it to? I gave mine to Aerie. FWIW.

I know where it is AC, or better said: Where it should be, but it just isn't there. So I think it is a bug.

BTW, my PC (Fighter/Mage) get the cloak, he's kicking ass :D

Hmmmm...

What did Sherlock Holmes say, 'Eliminate the impossible. Whatever you have left, no matter how improbable, is the solution.'

Sounds like a bug. Hate to say it, but did you save prior to going there? :(

Nope, so I used the CLUAConsole to create one for me.

Bit cheesy but I had no choice :o
