Dace Sontan - possible spoiler

Could you please tell me who or what is Dace Sontan? I`ve wacked the kobolds, turned the disk in the middle of the floor and also got the shard. I can`t seem to get any further. I think I need this things hand. Trouble is nothing is alive in this section except my gang.

Dace Sontan is the vampire you need to kill to gain his hand, he is located SW from the kolbold room.

I ran into a little problem here a couple days ago also. Dace is a Vampire. You need to defeat him and take his hand. But you also need a stake to kill him in his coffin. My problem was that I didn't pick up the stake that dropped from the Kobold Shaman (or which ever was the 'leader') and I didn't have another to stake him. I ended up using ShadowKeeper to get a stake. (Besides, I could break off a chair leg or something and go Buffy on his ass. lol)

There are at least two areas I can think of in SoA that contain vampires you need to stake, and just enough stakes to kill those vampires. Problem is, it's sometimes difficult to find the stakes.

Just as a general rule of thumb, you might want to buy a couple of stakes at a temple. I don't recall whether all temples carry 'em, but the one in the Slums does.

Thanks everybody. I had the stakes. I just couldn`t find him. But I did find him and he`s history. I had a `disintegrate` spell and he did! Funny, it`s never worked on anybody else!
