Getting Minsc to stay

I've taken a little too long, and now Minsc is attacking me even though I'm on my way to the Gnoll Stronghold. Is there anyway that I could keep him? Any edits to the game would be fine with me. Thanks.

nevermind, I figured it out.
I used Gatekeeper and warped my party to the Gnoll Stronghold.
