Dropping NPCs

Post by Tarondor »

If I've added an NPC to my party, how do I get them to go away?

Thanks!

The only way I've noticed (other than getting them killed in combat and neglecting to bring them back) if to select one of your party members, right click on the NPC (bringing up radial menu) and selecting "talk"
You should be able to, in conversation, tell them that you want them to leave.

Some of them take this with a grain of salt, others get nasty. Depending on who it is, be prepared for a fight.

Talking! What a quaint idea!

Thanks, Bishop, that worked perfectly.

Aye, however keep in mind that ther is one NPC that if you marry her the only way she'll leave is if she is killed. I guess when she said 'Till death do us part." She meant it.

Hmm yeah I heard about that one.
Is she meant to marry a specific character? Or like pretty much everything else is it a party thing?

(Male Monk wins fight against Tolub... Female rogue talks to pirate... pirate says "you fight pretty good for a girl")

And if it is a specific character, what happens if you remove that character from your party?

Well I believe it is a party thing because when I talk to her father as a female, I get two options that boil down into, "I'm afraid I'm not into that sort of thing.", and "Ok." Of course, I'm not sure if the NPC in question would actually marry a female as I've made it a point not to hire any NPCs (Although I might make an exception for the NPC in town which I've heard turns on you in battle.)
