Help with archer

iam starting a solo archer,i dont have tob
i want sugestion with how to play it and if i should use or not xp cap remover and ease of use mod,lvl 50 spell.....and if is really worth playng with it

Whenver I solo in SOA, I take off the XP cap. Not really necessary, but I hate to see all that XP go to waste.

Ease of Use has one convenient feature that will remove the stacking limits on things like... arrows. Should be useful for an archer, I would think.

Never tried the Level 50 mod, but I don't see how it would help since you aren't a full spell-caster. Unless you mean you want a challenge from enemy spell-casters, in which case it would depend on how experienced you think you are. But I would think the full Tactics Mod would be more interesting if you are looking for a challenge.

As far as suggestions on how to play, I would get the Boots of Speed as soon as possible. You will need to be able to outrun your opponents in order to put your archer skills to use. Also, memorize Entangle as soon as you get access to spells, for pretty much the same reason. If you haven't already decided on a race, I would go for Elf, as they get bonuses to longbows.

i have the boots of speed now its a lot fun!!
i liked the tatic of wait a spellcaster to start casting the spell,i run use hide in shadows and the spell is waste
should i put two handed weapon style?how can i kill lichs i think it would be dificult

Pick up Daystar. It allows you to cast sunray once a day and that might be enough to kill any lich ( except kangaax).

another good weapon vs. liches is the Gesen Bow. it's considered a +4 weapon, thus goes through Mantle, and it does electricity damage, thus goes through Stoneskin. When the lich casts Protection from Magical Weapons, you have to wait for 4 rounds, unless (i'm not sure it will work) you equip NORMAL arrows with the Gesen Bow, and punch through it with the elemental damage.

I've only managed to kill the lich in Ust Natha and the Unseeing Eye (using the Rift Device!) so far, but Kangaxx's days are numbered at last.. thanks

i prefer the gensen bow i dont like to use the scroll of protection to undead and i dont like to sleep a lot(i never sleeped with my archer and he is at lvl 12 boots of speed....)
