dual classing avenger...

i tryed dual classing avenger at level 12 to fighter, i had 17 strength, i used shadow keeper to get that, everytime i tryed the game froze, i have the latest version of the patch, anyone knows whats wrong???

is the combo legal???

I thought that druids aren't allowed to dual class...

No,it's NOT 'legal' as Avengers get 16 STR at best,but it IS possible

Maybe your char doesn't have enough charisma and/or wisdom?In order to dual class a Druid to a Fighter he needs to have at least:

17 STR
15 WIS
15 CHA

they let me dual...i have 18 wis, 17 str, and 15 cha,......the problem is afetr dualing my game freezes up....

anyone else try it????

are druids even allowed to dual???

You can get any multi-class comination by dualling, so a druid can dual, but only to a fighter.

You seem to have found a bug, possibly due to the fact that Avenger/Fighter aren't supposed to be possible.

About that dual class combo, why do you want it? What features is it you like about it? Myself, I have a hard time seeing the advantages of that particular combo. I'm certain we could find another (dual) class that will work better for you.

it seems fun, u get some amge spells, some cleric spells, shape shifting, plate armor etc. i played the other classes, it got boring.

I am usinf the Avenger at the moment and so far I think he is really cool!

My previous PC was a Ranger through BGI and a Stalker through BGII. I have got a bit bored as there are enough Rangers to be had in BGII (but only one in BGI). Anyhow the Avengers combination spells and ability to shapeshift and wear plate sounded cool. The shapeshift sword spider is great (reduces my thaco to -5 with 5 attacks per round and can slash through stoneskin).

I am now on the lookout for a special scimitar.....

yshania, can u try to dual class your avenger??? just use shadow keeper to hack your character giving it 17 strength and see if it crashes your game too, thanks.
