How do I upgrade items at the workbench?

Post by hellohello »

I have numerous upgrade items like the scope, mesh undershirt, etc etc, but I can't use them at the workbench. Whenever I have an upgradable weapon and choose the item, I press "assemble" and nothing happens except for a fizzing sound.

How do I do this? I seem to meet all the requirements.

First click on the item you want to upgrade ( sword, gun, lightsaber, armor). Then you see a list of those items you can upgrade for example carth's blaster. Choose his blaster then you will see a picture of it with 3 empty boxes underneath. Click the box for scope and a picture of the scope you have will fill in the box then click assemble. You have to choose which items you want to add before you choose assemble. Hope that was clear.

Also, make sure that all of the item slots are filled before pressing "assemble."

Well, you don't HAVE to fill all the slots. If you only have a Scope, you can still upgrade the weapon with -just- the scope and then add more modifications as you get them later. :)
