Hello everyone, im new to IWD and have just recently started playing. I am currently on the first level of Dragon's Eye w/a lvl 7 Fighter, a lvl 5/5 fighter/thief, and a level 5/4 fighter/cleric. I started out w/the fighter and added the f/t and f/c later when i saw the need. Im just wondering if I will be able to complete the game w/such a small and measley group and if anyone has any suggestions on who i should add or anything like that.
P.S.
Kudos to GB for getting the forums back up.

John 3:16-17
16-For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, so that anyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.
17-Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Add a mage
I would suggest you add a mage to your party as they can really reek havoc among your enemies. My favorite spell is Chromatic Orb as it is fast to cast and often freezes your target. You will run up against a lot of enemy mages in the game and having one of your own will make dealing with them easier. Mages can also identify enchanted items for you so you don't have to pay. With Stoneskin they are fairly well armored, just keep them to ranged weapons and to the rear for protection.
After playing this game a lot I've found its best (for me at least) to start with a small party of about 3 or 4 characters so they can level up quickly (less sharing of party xps). I usually make these the multi-class/ranger/paladin/mage type characters as they require more points to become good. The multiclass I make are most often fighter/thieves or fighter/clerics. Then as I progress I add pure fighters to the group. They level up so quickly that after a few good battles they are holding their own. By making them multiclass they are not as limited to the amount of proficiency points you can put into a particular weapon. I like a f/t bowman for advance scouting.
Spoiler alert: There's a nice bow you can pick up in Dragon's Eye that has a tremendous rate of fire, unfortunately it cannot be used by a pure thief but a f/t can use it. Equipped with this bow my thief can often cut down enemies while scouting ahead before they even reach the rest of the party.

You can solo IWD (&HOW,TOTLM) so any party can complete the game, you may have to be tactical and reload certain bits to adjust your tactics, but it is soloable with every character class I think.
