So SOCOM II: U.S. Navy SEALs came out today and I was one of the first in line to grab it at the local Best Buy. Played the game for hours already and it is simple incredible. But I was thinking: "I love the game online, but I wonder if SOCOM II could relate to RPGs?" What do you think? The video game is awesome but do you think the SOCOM II concept could tranlate into an RPG?
On a side note has anyone else gotten the game yet and have you tried it online?
Do you think SOCOM II can translate into an RPG?

I'm not to sure. I haven't played the game, personally, but I've found that it is hard for a game to transcend a genre in which it was not initially designed for. PErhaps with some tweaking of the game engine and such, it'd be possible, but I think a game like that is better suited to the genre it is currently.
