Rules for Thiefs

Post by keeB »

I looked over the manual, and couldnt see exactly WHICH weapons my thief can backstab it. Im using the Assasin kit, which is supposed to be 7x backstab..

He is equipped with a Katana, is that too "big" of a sword for him to use?

Keeb, if you double post or more, next time, don't bother telling us the obvious...? ;) Just delete the last post you made, and keep working up from there. Thanks.

the weapon GROUPS that the thief can backstab with are: dagger, shortsword, longsword, scimitar/wakizashi/ninja-to, katana, club, quarterstaff.

some specific weapons fron these groups are unusable by pure thieves, and you cannot backstab with them iven if you can use them (e.g. a thief/mage can use the Staff of the Magi, but he cannot backstab with it, since it is a mage-only weapon).

all other weapons are not usable for backstab.
