Elevator to lower city (SPOILERS)

please help

I can't open the elivator's door. Right in the beginning of the game. I've found the Sith's uniform, talked to him, got 350 exp. But just can't open the freaking door. PLEAAAASE help.

did u take off the suit before entering? I'm pretty sure you have to remove the suit.. or keep it on. Try either. One should work.

If you mean the elevator to the Lower City, once you've spoken to the guard while in disguise, he should not mind if you take off your disguise and open the elevator.

Or you could leave on the uniform. I've done it both ways, I think. Or perhaps I took off the Sith uniform once I got to the Lower City... been a while since I was there.

After you've been given permission, you should be able to just click on the door (not the "lock" middle icon, but the main door itself, like any unlocked door)...

It's so stupid of me not to try just open the door

I was just trying to open it with "Lock" mode

))

Oh, and maybe you could help me with one more problem ?
You see, as only I speak with that ***** in the cantina which thinks I'm a waiter and run away complaining to her father ... So next time I see har the game just going crazy !!! I turning sooooooooooooooo slowwwwww !!! I can't even play

(( I mean I have one hell of a computer, it goes smooth all the time but not after I soeak to that *****

So do you know what's the problem is ?

A couple of quick suggestions...

First, if you're going to start up a thread with a question, put something concerning its content in the thread title. Most people won't read a thread that doesn't state what it's about. We've had a ton of complaints via private messaging and emails from players who are being handed spoilers they never asked for upon opening seemingly innocuous threads.

That's the other point: please, if you're going to include spoilers in a topic, just as this one does, put some indication of it in the title. The site owner specifically requests this in a sticky thread at the top of the forum, so no one can say that info is unavailable.

I've changed this thread title accordingly. You can do the next ones, yourself.

I haven't really tracked WHEN my game lags horribly, as in 'after chasing off the snotty rich girl'... but I have horrible stutter-step in the main streets of Taris, which is right after the fight you mention. Character avatars just hike up a leg in mid-stride pose and stand there... sometimes they warp to the other side of the map, bumping against the "zone wall" and other times they just spin in place. /shrug

Is this the PC version, or the Xbox? The PC has some very bad problems with frame rates.

PC version, fable. I'd heard / read that there were problems with framerate. Doesn't help that I was trying to use all the tricked-out settings and 1280x1024 resolution.

Just hate playing such a potentially beautiful game in 640x480

Would have thought my GeForce-4 and half a gig of ram could handle it, but I guess not.
