You might want to check Bioware's support forums before you rush out and buy. At this time, there are a few extremely serious bugs that are making the game unplayable on the PC for quite a numbe of folks. In particular: 1) PCs with Radeon 9600 cards will crash during the initial start/continue a game screen. 2) General frame rates on a lot of PCs are so slow, even with a very powerful Intel or Athlon chip and 512 MB RAM, as to be unplayable.

Don't take my word for it, as I say: check out Bioware. At this moment, the company appears to be sweating bricks--these difficulties were completely unexpected, so much so, that they rushed a beta patch out just to get the Radeon 9600 users something. It's a kludge, however, and the frame rate problem remains.

So if you do decide to buy, buy from a store that will let you return an opened copy within 48 hours if you don't like the results. ;)

biv1982,

You've just offered to commit piracy, which is against our rules, and completely illegal. I doubt LucasArts or BioWare would appreciate you profiting off of their game while they don't make a dime.

I'm banning your account & IP address, and will be notifying the appropriate authorities if you attempt to come back for further illegal discussions.
