Can you return to Taris?

Hi Everybody,

I just want to know whether or not I can return to Taris after I become a Jedi. I am going to try to stay at level 2 until I become a Jedi. I want to be able to become the Duel Ring Champion but doubt I could do it as a level 2 character. Can I return to Taris later and fight my way up the ranks? Are Jedi even allowed to do such things? Has anyone been able to become duel ring champ as a low level character. Thanks for the answers!

No you can't go back to taris.

Well I started as a soldier and did every quest on Taris and left at rather high level. And i never regretted this. In the end as jedi i was more waiting for a feat then a forcepower.
I recommand doing every quest if you want to become consular
