Can't get cheat code to work for grenades

I type getitem fraggren or frag grenade
but I cant seem to get any grenades. What I
get in my inventory is a gray icon that looks
like a grenade but is not a grenade. The description
in inventory says its not a valid item?

Dear lord man! Why would you want to CHEAT!....its not like the game is hard!!

.....Your supose to play the game for the experience! To spen endless hours killing Desert Wraids for a few megger credit untill your thumbs are bleeding! Flying though the swoop races 100s of times trying to beat a redicules time that only you can beat after firmly planting you into your paddle and using you psycic abilitys to embu your racer with goddly speed so that you make take the pleasur in knowing that you just waisted 8 hours of your life that you will never get back for a few 1000 imaginary credits!!! Or the feeling you get when all is said and done...and you place you blood soked paddle apon the swet ridden carpet and squint tiresly at the TV in the dark to realize that you forgot to save for the last 8 hours as Darth Malak drills 3 holes into the head of you bodyless corps and plays a round of 10 pin while using your endtrails as a party favor at the next Sith Trooper Jamboree!! And most important HOW can you cheat when spending days and weeks playing the game as many times as you can to uncover every single piece of armor and quest in the game 5 times over JUST to make sure that you didnt miss a SINGLE SOLITARY PIECE or equipment while all the time your brain is slowly being turned to mush untill one day you find yourself in a forum BABALING WITHOUGHT COUSE, because they never let you cheat in the Xbox vertion..............

*SNAP!*

AND THAT JUST CHEESE MY COOKIES!!!!!

....not that I needed to cheat *tee hee*

I am not sure what you mean by "where am i getting the grenade" I would like to be able to use a cheat to add grenades ot my inventory

I see--you didn't quite make that clearr in your initial post.

Have you tried "giveitem" instead of "getitem"? The frag grenade's code is supposedly g_w_fraggren01. Can't say it works, but it's on the Web, and if you just do a Google search on KotoR and "cheats," you'll find them all, readily enough.

I pulled the enormously long list of cheat commands (with so many characters, it required three separate posts). Vieux, Skorpyo didn't ask for a complete list of 'em--he/she only wanted the frag grenade cheat, and I'd posted that.

But it's appreciated that you listed 'em. Maybe put 'em up in a separate "PC cheats" thread, and I'll sticky 'em? Nobody would be looking for any cheat they wanted in this thread, so they were kinda wasted, here.

And yes, Darth, the PC version has cheats. Nobody says you have to use 'em; I've never used 'em. I've never used a cheat, except to remove FoW in strategy games when I'm doing reviews, just to get a sense whether the AI is acting sensibly, like a moron, or employing cheats. But the policy at GB is to allow people to discuss cheats if they wish. Hey, you buy it, you can eat it, wear it on your head, or cheat yourself into a god.
