Ok, here's the thing:
After a couple of months of slavery to Neverwinter Nights, I've recently decided to play Baldur's Gate II again for a change.
The problem is, though, the game will practically freeze whenever I encounter a large group of monsters, and by being frozen I mean that the frame rate is somewhere in between 1 per 3 sec to 1 per 5 sec. I had previously played BG2 on Geforce2, and I never had any such problem with it. My current graphic card is ATI Radeon 9200, so I'm wondering if there's any compatibility issues with Radeon family of 3D cards. (The test in BG config runs normally, though.)
Can anyone help me out with this? Maybe there's a un/official patch that addresses the problem? This is really driving me nuts.
(In case you're wondering, I have P4-1600, 512 mb of ram, and fully installed game on 40 gb HD which is more than enough to play this game.)
Performance Issues?!

I have a ATI Radeon 9800 pro card and i don't have problems playing so i guess it's not something with the radeon family... What version of directX do you have?? could be some problem there...
