Turning Ajunta Pall (spoilers)
Turning Ajunta Pall (spoilers)
For the life of me I can't turn Ajunt Pall back to the light side. Does anyone know of an easy way to do it?
Give Shardaan the wrong one, the silver lined one worked every time, and Master Uthar will kill him for being stupid. You don't have to do everything you possibly can in the valley to gain enough prestige, so you don't have to tell him about the blade. But, if you do, you'll simply get it back when you kill him later on.

Having a high persuade helps.

Better yet, kill Shaardan (especially with HK-47 in your party) for his teremity. You can do this as either a Darksider or Lightsider ... I didn't see any Force Points awarded either way. Tricking him with any of the other swords is fine, but you get 500-600 XP if you kill him and only a nifty scene if you delude him. (I've never seen what happens if you actually give him the real sword ... I'm not interested in helping Shaardan.)
If you want to turn the sith ghost back, like Big Brother said, you need to have a high persuasion, but you need to make sure you choose the goody-goody responses (references to forgiveness and the Jedi Code always seem to do the trick).
As for the sword, Carth is right ... keep it! It's a killer (pun intended) double-bladed sword, and although your two-weapon style Jedi (Bastila, maybe you, maybe Juhani) don't need such a thing, it's a great weapon for Carth if you get into a close-quarters fight. If you haven't yet finished the game, I won't spoil it, but there'll be points where Carth benefits from a powerful meele weapon ... and that blade really fits the bill.

You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious!
