Hi,
I can't get the dais to work! I've tried twisting it in all sorts of directions, it won't open the doors to the abashai, it won't deactivate the magic field, although I have been able to return to Nathaniel and rest, etc. I've cleaned out this level, but from the walkthrough, it seems I need to de/activate the dais to continue on w/out too many problems?

That one is a little hard to figure out. The key thing is to realize that if your character is standing on the right side of the dial, it turns right, or east. If your character is standing on the left side, it turns left, or west. You have to walk your character around the dial to get him in position to get the combination to work. Took me forever to figure that out. Hope this helps!

Thanks! I was spinning the dial from the wrong direction. Now I have a new problem. I've done everything else except Caged Fury and Oria. Oria turns into ethereal form easily enough, but now I can't get the levers to actually either turn me ethereal or her real. they don't seem to do anything. I have the first one at "no mode" and the second one at "inner sanctum". I've tried all the possible combinations of those two levers, I spent several hours <groan> trying to get the battle square mastery, thinking that would help, and still I can't kill Oria. I even got desperate and tried to cheat-kill her!!! nothing works! what do I do?!

It sounds like you have it right, I don't know what's wrong. It worked for me.

I know you have to have the one lever set to "Inner Sanctum", try changing the settings on the other one?
