It's good to be God :D

Actually, I've tried to *ahem* cease that rule making of mine, and be more of a follower then a leader (note: Athkatla one incident as compared to Athkatla II ending :D ). And like I said, for this one, until I join up with the rest of you, I pretty much have free reign of my part of the story, so I figure I can get it all out of my system, and then be a better party member later on.

As for the combat resolution, next post for sure, but you'll have to wait two posts to find out whats going to happen ;)

Damn you! :o :D
I thought I had found the perfect spell for the situation, next time I'll make a spell up, instant hakeashar death or something. ;)

So he teleported out of there, eh?
As Yolta would say; "interesting"

I'll send you a PM asap. :)

So you guys know why I haven't posted--I've pretty much been bedridden with the flu for the past 48 hours. I'll post when I start feeling better.

I'll just be saying - I'm away from the 22-27 and again from the 30-02.

If the story has advanced in regards to my part - I'll try to post the 28 or 29.

Merry Christmans - and if I don't see you before - then a happy New Year :)

It's been a while, hasn't it? Sorry about that. Just writing to let you guys know that I'm recovered and ready to get things going again. That bought with the flu was pretty terrible...it was a while before I could muster enough concentration to watch TV, much less write.

No problem on my account - seeing as I've hardly been near a computer, unless for these last two days - and am going away for the new year trip tomorrow morning.

I hope to post a piece shortly after I get back on the 2nd.

Have a good new year peeps - and "see" you then.

Well - what did ya know - I did find a few spare minutes, so I managed to write up some dribble and post it :)

Now you have something to mess around with while I'm on "vaction" over the new year.

Later peeps.

And thus ends the desert battle. I hoped you all enjoyed it. And do not worry, your favorite (I'm an ass, aren't I :D :p ) characters are still alive. I figure this should cause for some fun times ahead. :D

@CM: Sorry to hear that. Oh well, at least you'd already disappeared from the scene. :p Well, stick around and tell us how we're doing every once in a while, okay? :)

@Aegis: Is that a rhetorical question? ;) I have this sinking feeling that Sethin is going to come sliding down the banister of the inn at any moment now. :D It would be interesting when Aerie saw who it was though...

@all: For some reason I'm inordinately happy with my last post. Not sure why... :p I think Aerie's personality really came out though.

@Mysteria: Don't mind Aegis. :D If you have the time, feel free to comment on what you've read. We thrive on constructive feedback. :)

@all: Heh, heh, just got my new computer up and running. Now I just got to get everything I need (or think I need) sorted out and installed. You'd be surprised how much "essential" software you accumulate over the course of a computer's lifetime. Some of that includes materials for these stories. ;)

Aegis: Who said I'd want one? :p :D

Magus: Don't worry, I think I know that guy well enough not to take him too seriously. :D

Aw, Mysty. You know you still love a particular one eyed ranger ;) :D :p

Anyway, call to arms! A new year, and all. Shall we resume, or will Magus and I write the rest (thus leading to a very heroic, if not odd sotry :D )

Actually, it's probably my turn to write. :o (It would be nice if ScardyBob would put something up, though). I've been busy getting back to school, and perhaps more importantly, getting/keeping my new computer working. I'll post as soon as I have the time and energy to spare. :)

I can't help but feel I'm going to spam this thread ... :D
Aegis: You're to blame if I'm spamming in here! Stupid one-eyed ranger who's to dumb to accept healing if it's offered. :p I'm missing him in this story.

To keep this post from being pure spam: I want to read what happens next too! ;)

All right, I think I should just stop posting here for now or this will have to be moved over to SYM. :o

Sorry for the delay. I'll get a post up either tonight or early tomorrow. If it's any indication of my problems, I'm running in safe-mode right now. I've been mulling over some ideas for where things are heading story-wise in my spare moments, so I haven't been completely idle.

@Mysteria: Glad that you like the story so far. :)

There, the first of two posts are up. Hopefully the second won't take quite as long as the first. ;)

On second thought, I think we'll skip right to later in the evening...unless there's any objections. I figure the situations at the Inn and at the jail have just about played themselves out. I'll post later today (hopefully), so post now or forever know that you missed a chance to post. :p

On an unrelated note, does anyone know someone that would be interested in joining the story? We seem to be short on players. It'd be nice to have a couple more players, both to add some diversity to the story and in case someone else decides to drop out for whatever reason.
