North Sea Museum
Just read on CNN that the North Sea Museum in Copenhagen had a fire causing catastrophic damage to the 1 million gallon aquarium and killing off several of it's inhabitants. You can read a blurb here
That's pretty sad news but the story doesn't mention anything on the source of the fire. I know we've got quite a few members from Denmark so maybe they could fill us in on a few more details especially if any of you have visited the museum before. It sounds like it was quite an impressive 'aquarium'.

Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.
Only thing I've seen - mostly speculations currently - is that the cafeteria just had gotten its floors given a coat of lacquer(sp?), and that it is likely some rags with lacquer on it that have caught fire from some spark.
It doesn't seem to be a deliberate started fire.
Nobody knows - currently - how many fish will survive, but many of the rare ones are lost.
It is also belived to be a major blow to the entiere tourisme for that area (North Jutland) and Denmark, due to the popularity of the location.
Edit: typos

proberly cause I made a typoish error in my ealier post saying it was in North Sealand, when infact it was in North Jutland - completely differnet parts of Denmark.Originally posted by Rob-hin
Why would Hirtshals be funny?
Because it was written with '!!'.
Or because the first post mentions it is in Copenhagen
Otherwise I don't think there was fun involved

Jutland is not really part of Denmark proper anyway.
I didn't really bounce Eeyore. I had a cough, and I happened to be behind Eeyore, and I said "Grrrr-oppp-ptschschschz."
