Where is Mickey

Ok....I've read through this board and through the GB walkthrough, so I know that mickey is supposed to be located outside of the Inn in Nulb....trouble is..he's not there. I've gone at all times during the day and night with no luck. Is there some other pre-req. that I'm not meeting, or is this another bug in a long list of bugs?

He starts out on the planks leading to the Inn in Nulb, (which you can't sleep in?) but after talking to him he moved to the planks leading to the Boatman's Inn and the docks. If you can't find him in Nulb you should be able to find him in Hommlet during the day.
