The penalty was technichally correct. At least by the letter of the law anyway. Still, it's a stupid rule that's worded horribly.
I seriously doubt it would have made a difference anyway. The Buc's had just given up 21 points in 4 minutes, I don't think they would have pulled the game out anyway. They gave the game away, and like Rice said after the game...the call may have been bad, but there should have been no call to make. It should never have gotten that far.
@HLD....That team is run by a freind of mine local. He's not the most attentive of people, so he probably abandoned it after he lost a game.

Looking at head at next week I will be without Tomlinson and James going against Lightning Strike that has Ricky Williams and Jamal Lewis.
Still I like my teams chances at every other position if Moulds plays
So your picks for early rookie of the year?
Anquan Boldin?
Andre Johnson?
If it were given today, Boldin would probably get the offensive rooke of the year; he is third in the league in receiving (497 yards, 2 TDs) and with Charles Rogers out, there aren't many other impact players at this point.
Byron Leftwich has just been handed the starter job in Jacksonville; he had a stellar outing last week against your Chargers last week and is 6th in the league in passer rating (47-77, 691 yards, 5 TDs, 3 INTs; 50 minimum attempts), but we'll see how he does once there's some film on him.
Defense is a real crapshoot because no rookie stands out, so I can't comment on anyone for that award.

If brute force doesn't work, you're not using enough.
I've seen a couple Browns games *damn local stations* and I gotta say Davis is impressive. He seems to be all over the field in the games I've seen. I'd probably give him the edge defensivly.
Unles Boldin hits the wall soon, I think he's gonna be a lock for offensive rookie though. To put up those kinda numbers with the Cards...that is impressive.
Dante Hall for MVP.....

Im first in points but have been slightly outscored in a couple games. Last year I led my league in points then got killed in the playoffs because Mcnabb, Griese and Holmes were injured. Hopefully this year won't be a repeat
Well, it looks like I managed to back into the consolation bracket of the SYM fantasy football playoffs, but I have a question about my other fantasy football team.
I've got four good RBs, but can only play three of them. Who's the odd man out?
They are Marshall Faulk (vs. CIN), Deuce McCallister (@JAX), Ahman Green (@OAK) and Rudi Johnson (@STL).
Our league has places for two RBs, plus one RB/WR, so someone has to sit. Johnson blew up last week for 174 yards and 2 TDs, but Faulk and McCallister have more TDs (8 each), and McCallister has almost twice as many yards (1,989 total). Faulk, on the other hand has fewer total yards, but one more TD and no fumbles. Green is the most reliable of the four with 17 total TDs and 1,894 total yards.
If I play Johnson, I'm leaning towards benching Faulk, but I don't know if I can bring myself to sit down one of the most prolific fantasy scoring machines of the past few years (even if he's not quite as productive this year).
Johnson has been on fire lately and has had to split time with Corey Dillon, but it looks like he is going to get the lion's share of the work since Dillon probably will be playing somewhere else next year.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if I'd sit Faulk seeing the Rams are playing at home. One the other hand, Johnson has been on fire all seasons when he's had the chance to play. If Dillon hadn't been in the picture, I think he would have been in the running for MVP this season. Faulk has fewer total yards, but he missed a few games. In a pinch, I'd likely bench Duece. That's just on the idea that the Saints had an offensive explosion last week, and should be do for an egg in my mind.

Its hard to bench a guy as productive as Deuce for a committee RB like Johnson but Jax does a good job of stuffing the run. Its a coin flip so I say play your favorite.
Woo Hoo Playoffs!!!!! With Manning throwing 5 tds for me last week and with Tomlinson putting up Randy Moss numbers ( 294 yds 4 tds receiving last 2 weeks) I'm in good position.
