Noticed this mentioned in the FAQ as being an Xbox live feature....
Got me thinking, would you pay a monthly fee to download an "episode" so to speak, of a larger storyline each month? Say 20 hours long or so (just a rough figure thrown in for the sake of argument).
Instead of a billion MMORPGs coming out, why not explore the realm of downloadable SP campaigns, guaranteed each month, similar to how some MMOs patch their game each month but only doing it for a SP game (thus extending its life and also collecting a fee to continue to do so).
I know it would work wonders for this and many other games.

Nice double post and Stalin quote.....
anyways, it would be more than $20, and at the rate Bioware is going, I doubt they are even capable of making any downloadable content. It's Christmas already, quite a while after the PC version with the added content came out, and still no sign of the promised downloadble content. Something is probably wrong, maybe they can't even do it.

I think Darth's right: Bioware is really stretched thin at this point. Don't forget, they also made claims to providing in-house RPG singleplayer downloadable modules for NWN. They issued one, and the player community has been told that they're currently "too busy" to produce others.
Also, Bioware is busily hiring. Growth pangs, I guess: too many irons in the fire. I only hope they don't lose their creativity as they struggle to meet demand.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

You can check this out. Although Bioware people did say it would be out at Christmas, apparently the official statement is "Winter 2003". So I guess that until March comes around, we can't complain. But if it is taking them so long simply to change the PC stuff to Xbox without problems, then they better have some more stuff than what the PC version currently has.

Then it looks like you are right as usual, Polarism. The downloadble content from Xbox Live is merely to update and catch up on what the PC version already has. The Xbox version has no love, although companies like Ubisoft make sure their games get attention everywhere.
