HELP! None of my healing works
I just finished the Salamander battle on the 2nd Level and before battle I cast a Pro.........................tection from Elements (Fire) on 5 of my people, and Resist Elements on the others. I got my party just outside of the NPCs range and cast Greater Invisiblity on my wizard and marched her up to him and cast Phantasmal Killer, killing him instantly. Then the salamanders and firebrothers appeared. I ran the wizard back to the rest of the party and cast Minor Globe of Invulnerability, and everyone got inside. During the next round the firebrothers approached and the salamanders cast their fireballs with no effect. However, during the second round the globe just poofed. I managed to survive the battle with everyone because of the protection and using the wand of Ice Storm my wizard had, but now here's the problem: From that point on, healing spells, scrolls, potions, etc. have no effect on anyone. I can lay on hands and rest until healed, but any spells cast by character or item makes a strange sound, and no damage is healed. Please reply if anyone else has had this problem and maybe knows how to fix it. I've tried going back to town, waiting for like a month, quitting and reloading the game, all to no avail. I'm *really* hoping someone can provide a solution as I'd really hate to have to start a whole new game, since (as I normally do) I saved my game right after the battle, before the bug showed up, and I have no backup.
Rogue picks the lock. says "Ready?" and throws open door. Wizard casts fireball, sorceror casts Ice Storm. Fighter, with his dying breath, says "A helluva place to put a false door!"

Maybe the game thinks your globe of invulnerability is still up? Did you try any heal spells of higher than third level; those should get through the globe? You might try a dispel magic on each member of the party (just make sure that you give that characters magical equipment to another character first to avoid destroying it). That might get rid of the lingering effect of the globe of invulnerability; if that is the problem of course.
That is the only idea that I have. I hope it helps; Good Luck!
