I am about to start my first campain. I've read the tips and I got lot of good idea from them. Here is a prob. i am having. I am poor. Very very poor I've been borrowing my buddy's DMG and Players hand book and Monster books. Is there a website an where I can download the core books? Thanks for your help guys take care

Your imagination > all.

Take time to design a few of everything yourself. Including some monsters.

Your players love to be surprised as much as finding stuff they expect.

At start, each 10 fights or so(so each game to each year depending on how battle oriented or no battle oriented is the group, some groups fight all the time, others would talk all the time and send whoever else do their job basically hehehe), there should be like 2 encounters mobs that are completely from you...then when you see how much or how little the players react, you use them again or never again...it is a social game. :)
