Spontaneous Casting

Post by anofalye »

Well, at the description of Spontaneous casting it is very detailed and all, but they dont say how to do it. It must be very simple, but I am missing it, and I wont revert to memorizing tons of healing again...

I know in Baldur it was shift or control while casting, but, I didnt figure out how to do it atm...anyone would be kind enought to tell me how? (must be very simple, yet, when you miss it...hehe)

(Neutral Good cleric of Pelor should definitely be able to do some spontaneous healing hehe)

Hold shift down, then mouse over the spell you want to convert.

Thanks :)

And to actually level up, we need to rest? Go back to town? :P

The game seem great, but I really feel lost in it, cant explain why, but even Morrowind was feeling less lost. :)

I finish the Throne of Bhaal, ID2 at HoF, but I never feel so lost except maybe back when I first try Pool of Radiance after playing the DragonLance(which for some reason make me feel in control and not lost at all) :)

Anyway :) Thanks now need to know where to click or do something to level up now with that xp hehe.

In order to level up, you just need to click on the little yellow "star" icon in the lower right (or maybe upper right) corner of your character portrait. That opens up the "level up" window. If you aren't ready to level up yet, you can simply close that window again by clicking the red "close" button at the lower right of that window; just like your inventory screen. No resting or going back to town should be required, but you cannot level up during combat.

I hope that helps.
